I decided to round up this month
with a sampling of all my experiences.
~ this 29th day of February ~
I hadn't had a haircut in months so by the 23rd it was time
so the before picture was shot
on the grassy dunes by Daddy Jim!

The Valentine's bouquet was flourishing very well
courtesy a friend of Jim's.

Flowers like this erica, white heath were ready to bloom.
We have been experiencing a very mild February this year
compared to last year's snowmageddon!

On one super cold night
Daddy Jim made an apple/berry crisp.
They said it was delightful!

I actually was able to run full out on the beach !
I felt like it was summer time
with a quick dip in the water
grabbing Mr. Orangie
from a fate worse than death.

The winds would catch the spray drawing us down the beach.

Just a wee bit of snow to manoeuvre,
no chance of slipping this year!

Since there are many cousin dogs
we decided to get together at Point Pleasant Park
which by the looks on all these faces
was an all round hit.

Daddy Jim had his eye on many things this month like  ~~

this red flowered pitcher and glasses set

which had already been added to
this tomato painted frosted glass set
already acquired a few years ago.

Any snow that dared to show it's face
was annihilated by yours truly ~
besides it tastes good!

As I mentioned before the Valentines bouquet held up really well.

You can see me in the middle
around Jim and his school mate Ilze (red dress)
at a pop up art show.
Slowness is not in my vocabulary
when blond ladies pay attention to me.

I needed an occasional zen walk

This rusted train trestle
caught Daddy Ron's eye
as he picked me up from my haircut.

and we have done a full 360
finally showing you my haircut
this sweet baby Corgi, named Farley
who played nose's with me
just yesterday.
See you again in 4 years!
Doodle over and out here!!

IT'S IN THE AIR •*¨*•.¸¸¸¸.•*¨*•

It is definitely in the air.
Can you feel and see it the way I'm seeing it!

There may be remnants of ice on my trails along the grassy dunes ~~

counter-balanced with mist swathing across the fields

with occasional treacherous ice
 making me super careful

seeing MacDonald House on the horizon
where Daddy Jim works
grounds me

then my nose goes on overload,
I assure you!

Quick diversions off the earthy trails
up onto the boardwalk steering me over to the beach view.

On a mission
on this day which
feels like SPRING!

Besides the snowdrops are popping through in my garden.
Spring is early this year usually teasing us in March.
I won't jinx Mother Nature,
so I have zipped my lips tight!

It's Nova Scotia Heritage Day
so since everyone was off work
we decided to meet
Mary & Micheal with Maggie
Brynn & Colin with Ace & Tucker
at Point Pleasant Park.

As you can see the weather was perfect
blue skies, bright sunlight
with easy, well-trodden paths
to work our way around the park.

Mary at this point had young Tucker on leash
because he eats every stone in sight and
is still very young ~ learning the ropes.
Maggie however loves the aerial snow toss leap sessions!

The excitement for Tucker escalates him into a #2
while Colin leaps over the bench in the background with Ace.

I, on the other hand, try to encourage Ace to steal my Mr. Orangie in my mouth
which wasn't as successful as I had hoped it would be.
He's young too and dealing with an old dame like me
well, let's say I put him in his place ~ a learning moment ~ from time to time!

Heading up along the NorthWest Arm
always is a signal for me
~~ fresh spring water is always available in the ditch ~~
a quick slurp
we proceeded along.

Mary & Jim obviously enjoyed this unexpected get-together
as they always do!

Colin & Brynn

Michael & Mary

Mary & Brynn

Looks like someone by the name of Tucker is plum tuckered out.
This was a long walk for a wee one and ~~~

not to mention your's truly and the adults too.
Next time, Folks!!

This view is why I enjoy spending a day at daycare.
Wouldn't you love to meander along this pasture
heading down the hill to the beach below?!
If not, then just stand at the fence
inhale the fresh air and beauty
imagine far off lands, beaches, mountains, oceans.
It's an instant feeling that I always get
when I visit for an afternoon ~

Plus I get a chance to run forever
with all my new friends, Chloe
the adults
Mary and Stephanie.

At the end of the visit
Chloe says "arrivederci"as the guys return.
All of the sudden I hear about someone new in my extended family ~

"well my, my, my,"
 lookie here!
It's Brynn with her new addition
I will surely meet him at the park soon.
(Word has it that he is the spitting image of my predecessor JESSIE
only he's a he!)

one more time
now who lives here?

because she's hung up to dry
it would seem!

Let me check every ball
MR.ORANGIE's family lives here.
I know you believe me!

I feel like I've hit the JACKPOT
everywhere I look and sniff
absolutely everywhere.

even a bar with my picture
all over it.

Alas after all that searching in vain
all I had to do was look up
there was
who this time escaped my sniffing mania.
But guess what?
I have a great memory
had better keep an eye open
because I will return
singing this little ditty all way to the store ~~~

I try to be serious
but when one of your Dads is just
"over the top"
pretty much most of the time,
I have to be prepared
for anything
~ especially pictures.

is/was captured
when I first understood what snow was all about
~~ one EATS snow whenever possible ~~
I have maintained to this day
that by rolling and eating
a wee bit of the white stuff
makes LIFE a little more sweeter.

My nine years have been so full
of JOY and LOVE
for my guys.

my friends!
